The first global promotion for 2024 from Hyatt is here. World of Hyatt members can earn up to 21,000 bonus points by staying at participating Hyatt hotels around the globe.
For every 3 nights spent at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts, you earn 3000 bonus points. Up to a maximum of 21,000 bonus points with this offer.
To earn the bonus points, you need to register for the offer first.
Only nights stayed after registering for the promotion will count towards the bonus points. Registration closes on April 15th, 2024 and the valid stay dates are from March 1st, 2024 until April 30th, 2024.
Eligible Nights do not need to be consecutive to qualify for the promotion. As long as you spend the required number of nights, within the promotion period.
In my opinion, 21,000 Hyatt points are worth as much as 40,000 to 50,000 Marriott points, or 65,000 to 75,000 IHG points.
What qualifies as an eligible night?
Hyatt specifies that an eligible night is one spent at a participating hotel where a member pays an eligible rate or redeems a Free Night award. To be considered an eligible night, the hotel must be participating in World of Hyatt during your stay.
It’s good to see that Hyatt continues to consider free night awards as qualifying nights for their bonus points promotions — something I have not seen lately from any other programs.
Additional bonus points for World of Hyatt Credit Card holders.
World of Hyatt credit card holders have the opportunity to earn an extra 1000 bonus points per 3 qualifying nights — up to a total of an extra 7,000 points.
However, this part of the promotion is not global. This offer is only available at participating hotels in the following destinations: Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mainland China, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
If you spent 21 nights at hotels in any of the above countries, you can earn a total of 28,000 bonus points.
Conclusion
World of Hyatt members can earn up to 21,000 bonus points with Hyatt’s latest edition of Bonus Journeys promotion. Hyatt Credit Card members can earn an additional 7000 points for stays in select countries. Remember to register for the promotion by April 15th.
