Credit cards offer the easiest way to earn hotel points and airline miles. And if you’re loyal to a specific brand, brand-specific credit cards can provide additional perks. In the US, the World of Hyatt credit card follows the same format as other co-branded hotel cards. It offers a sign-up bonus, elite status, points on purchases, and bonus points for spending at Hyatt properties.

Complimentary World of Hyatt Discoverist Status
The World of Hyatt Credit Card includes complimentary Hyatt Discoverist elite status. This status is equivalent to Silver in other programs and offers various benefits such as a 10% bonus on Hyatt points, premium internet access, bottled water, room upgrade (subject to availability), expedited check-in at participating locations, up to 2:00 PM late checkout, and earning Hyatt points on flying American Airlines.
Qualifying Night Credits
Each year, you’ll receive 5 qualifying night credits toward your next tier status. Additionally, every time you spend $5,000 on your card, you’ll earn 2 additional qualifying night credits. These credits will help you achieve higher elite status with Hyatt in fewer stays.
Is the World of Hyatt Credit Card Worth It?
This card is very similar to how the World of Hyatt program is. No hype, yet efficient and effective. Or you may say quality over quantity.
Whether or not the World of Hyatt Credit Card is for you depends on how many nights you typically spend at Hyatt hotels in a year and what other credit cards you hold.
However, considering the standard benefits, the $95 annual fee is well worth it. The card offers a free night, elite status, and the opportunity to earn Hyatt points for American Airlines flights.
Additionally, the points earning potential is good, with Hyatt points typically redeemable for a value of 2-2.5 cents per point. Overall, this credit card provides great value for Hyatt loyalists.
