Update: The promotion is now official status match promotion.
Hilton has an ongoing status match promotion. that allows you to fast track to gold or platinum for just 10 or 18 stays respectively. You need to upload proof of elite status with another hotel group to participate in the status match.
However, Hilton has another promotion that gives you double night credits for all stays.
If we combine both these offers, you get a diamond status for 9 nights or a gold for 5 nights. And the status is valid till March 31st 2023. This is one of the fastest ways to earn Hilton Diamond we have come across in a long time.
A word of caution. We haven’t tried this and can’t guarantee the status match or upgrade. If you are planning to stay anyway, this seems to be worth a shot.
How to get Hilton Diamond in 9 nights?
- Register for double night credit promo here.
- Apply for a status match here. The double night credits are applicable only from 8th of September, so time this accordingly.
- Once your status match is through, complete 9 nights of stay within 90 days of the status match and between 8th September and 30th December 2020. Don’t forget to book through Hilton site or app only with points eligible rates.
- Cross your fingers and wait for the diamond mail :)
By the way, Hilton terms and conditions do mention that double night credits are applicable for fast track as well. They just don’t explicitly mention the status match offer. You can read about it here.
